I am sure all of you have, at least once, faced unpleasant consequences of spam accumulating in your inbox. According Today, a California court awarded Facebook $711 million in civil damages against Sanford Wallace, the notorious sell proclaimed “spam king” who is also known by the derisive nickname “Spamford.” The court found Wallace guilty of violating the CAN-SPAM act, and he could face time in prison if convicted.

ReplyDeleteI was surpised when I hear some new facts about this website.Facebook was founded by Mark Zuckerberg,who is 23 years old now,and his colleage roommates and fellow computer science students Eduardo Saverin ,Dustin Moskovitz and Chris Hughes.All of them were students of Harvard University.
Initialy,whis website was only for Harvard Students,but later ,it was expanded and currently,the website has more than 300 million users worldwide.From the beginning the website was launched as The Facebook,originally located at thefacebook.com.Within 24 hours ,it had somewhere between 12000-15000 registration.
Nowadays, Facebook is a global social networking website that is operated and privately owned by Facebook, Inc.It has like more than 900 employees.Facebook is considered as a new Google.
Facebook is considered as a useful tool .It can be availed as a marketing tool for brand promotion ;it helps organize events;it brings people toghether.
On the other hand,it is an addictive waste of time.

ReplyDeleteI think facebook is something great because you can find there people from the whole world, old friends, co-workers but in the same time facebook is a big waste of time. This video impressed me very much, and Mark Zuckerberg did a great job, to control such a big company at age of 23 is something extraordinary. He is one of those people who show that you don’t need to finish university for creating something, you just need to use you’re brain and to do everything to achieve you’re goals. What I like the most about facebook is the way employees work, and that they all party together after. What about Mark Zuckerberg and that he stole the idea of facebook, I think it’s just an attempt to make some easy money and ruin Mark’s reputation.
